TOPIC: [SSRP] Crafting ideas (very cool items inside)

Suggestion Title: craftable items (multiple)
Items I am suggesting (all craftable)

Barricade: a depolyable barricade that is strong to (but not immune to) weapon damage and explosive damage by pressing and holding e it would be able to be picked back up, its for when your base is destroyed you can set up a quick defence or when raiding to set up a defence. would use a prop like a roadblock or a small hl2 barrier. suggested crafting cost 10 steel. would only be able to be picked up by its owner so others cant steal easily also would be fairly heavy so you cant easily have alot in your inventory

Shield grenade: a grenade you throw by yourself that would deploy a bubble that heavily reduced all incoming damage from bullets and after x amt of damage is absorbed it would dissapear. suggested crafting cost 25k gems 10 rubys. check out a similar concept on bob's tdm rp as the armored unit

Laptop gun from perfect dark zero: for those who dont want to look it up its a decent assault rifle that is deployable into a turret that shoots anyone who isnt you in a cone infront of it it can also be picked up. No idea on the crafting cost probably around that of the minigun

Prop invincibility tool: would make a single prop invincible to explosives (no fading doors). only one prop at a time per player encourageing players to work together to have a good design and a good few props which would help encourage new designs. suggested crafting cost: 50 uranium 50k gems 25 steel

(edit i forgot to add this) a craftable printer: maybe a printer that is moderately costed and takes time to make but you can have alot of them or maybe one about the same strength as nuke printer but you can only have one either way it should be heavy and take time to gather the materials for



How would it benefit the server: add new meta and mechanics for basing/defending as all the items would make a difference

Potential Issues/Exploits: rules would have to be changed to say that barricades cant block off things similar to props even though they are destructible

Additional notes: I have an idea for overhauling mining+mutants I want to write soon

I like all of the items, except for the invinicibility tool. Big bases would become unraidable, and it could be easily exploiteren by propblockers.

I dont think the Invincibility Tool and Laptop Gun should be added as Invincibility Tool can be easily exploited as stated above and the Laptop Gun seems a bit too OP depending on fire rate,damage, and crafting price. I think it should cost as much as an Orbital Strike. Other than that I give it a

Would be great since the sapphire is terrible and having a printer you could craft would help normal players and VIPS to earn money while basing / printing.

The Craftable Printers aren't a good idea becaus People buy vip For the printers and if they add the craftable Printers no one will buy vip they would only buy it for Job Slots ...

And the invincible prop can be used to propblock Doors then go print in the room
