CS:GO 5v5 Scrim/Pug Competitive Server!

This server would work the same as your standard Faceit 5V5 servers that you are put in every time you queue on Faceit, there would be 5 on Terrorist Side and 5 on Counter-Terrorist side, this would be carried out as a normal competitive game, but with potential prizes, and maybe streaming/casting of the games to the whole community.

We could use the 1v1 server as a qualifier for the game aswell, meaning we are getting use out of both servers, which would mean the top 10 would be entered into the 5v5 game, and teams would be decided later.

I think this would be a great way to broadcast your skill, and maybe attract a team to recruit you!

So basically, the way this server would work, is that 10 people can join the server if they are whitelisted, and play in a 5v5 game where the time of the game would be announced on the forum a day in advance or so, to allow players to spare some time if they wish to play.

I know this probably won't get accepted, but I just thought I'd put it out there as something I and probably lots of others would like to see come out of Zarp, because as we have seen, adding a CS:GO server to zarp has already increased the player count, so this could do it aswell!

Even though I do not like or play CSGO, I like your idea but what if for example teams of 5 would book a day where they can compete against another team from ZARP to practice and advance their skills added on to your idea or just to practise with different people to see who goes well together?

Then that would be okay, the server would be hireable for teams on all days apart from when set matches are schedules, they would just have to talk to an owner/admin of the scrim server.

1v1 doesnt display your trueskill, people can have decent aim but perfect gamesense and not get into the 5v5 cause of all the poeple whose aim is perfect and their gamesense decent. So it wouldnt be displayed really good, and it would then also most of the time be the same 5v5 so that isnt fun either, if there comes like 4 matches a month and if you played 1 in the month you cant join a 5v5 in that month anymore its fine, but otherwise not.

This is a suggestion, not a final thing, so I don't understand why you are speaking with the attitude that it is a done deal. Feel free to give feedback, but don't try to undermine me.

If you can get 8 7 teams together by next month or with in a resonable time frame I will host matches on a sunday for the rest of next month to make it an entire tournament. We can have the server set up just like faceit or even esl Ill work that out when I see which one is easier and more stable. I will live stream the events so everyone can watch and see how things are going plus keep a roster / live updates of the teams

I already have a full team of 5 that are ready to play. ( I won't be playing due to me streaming and keeping track of the events. )

So I set up a server lastnight to see how hard it would be to have tournament style game play and it wasn't very hard at all. I probably will be making a post later to see if we can get 7 teams of 5 to get in on it and then maybe some kind of prize. The server as all the standarded rounds practise, warmup, knife and 30 rounds 16 wins the config is an ESL config with official movement speeds.

I can get a team together, so that will be 3, we have my team: Emerge, we have MemorEZ and we have the team you said you had ready.

Oh and by the way, would it be 128 tick? I feel like this is a must have.

Of course and just remember this isn't an official zarp server it's just some fun for the community and a way to see who really is the best because since that 1v1 server I've seen a lot of proclaimed professional players.

On a sidenote i can actually organize these kinds of competitions or tournaments maybe 3-4 times a year if there's any interest. A lot of the times there's not enough 5 man teams though so sometimes it just has to be 3-man tournaments which wouldn't be as interesting but obviously the prize will be the same.
