How would it benefit the server: People would use riot shield

Potential Issues/Exploits: No

Additional notes Riot shield should be changes so it would be like edf so you dont lose it in death

Well this would not be a good change because then there is no risk so it will be over powered running in with a riot shield with no fear of loosing it letting some one try to kill you while your mate gets all the kills.

Otherwise it will just sit in inventory, doing nothing

I'd actualy like this to be implemented. The riot shield is something to valuable to lose so people won't really use it. Imagine the EDF suit losing on death. Only reason to use it I guess is for collectors items.

The issue is that it's honestly a useless item. The width of it is small and with other defensive mechanisms its extremely circumstantial.
