I haven't played TTT since I resigned, but the weapons are somewhat balanced if it's still the vanilla game, no? The shotgun was OP before the reboot because the server lagged so much that other weapons were nearly unusable, now that lag isn't as big of a deal as it was before, other weapons stand a much better chance of beating a shotgun user.
