I tend to disagree on this one. Having a Pointshop gives players something to grind for and to come back for. It must, however, be decently updated & maintained which it hasn't been in over a solid year apart from random holiday stuff.
Removing the Pointshop won't change the state of the server as is right now, if people want the gamemode to become so competitive and grindy, choose ranks. The Pointshop however is badly maintained with people complaining about hitboxes and such.
Maybe not remove it as a whole, maybe just remove some models, like the 5+ anime models or whatever, we only really need like 1 or 2.
Maybe, remove the most unused taunts?
As I previously said, if you're so inclined to leave the Pointshop, remove all player models and add in default ones, and unused taunts - If anything the Pointshop should be different to Deathrun as Deathrun doesn't concentrate fully on using weapons as the gamemode.
Hmm no thats the only content left that is original and its not that original
The content isn't original and isn't original. Most people see a Pointshop server and are reluctant to join it.
If all of you want originality, then start thinking - that's how originality starts but be aware of uniqueness. When it was modded, the playerbase dropped, you need to start thinking about its audience. The thing that brought players wasn't just putting a hashtag and thinking that you're doing something, it's going on it and inviting friends.
