Voter Requirements

How would it benefit the server:

To start off, this suggestion is proposing that some sort of system is put in place to only allow people who's profile data matches the requirements to vote in public polls. This means, only people who have been registered for 3 days for example, or people who have a minimum of 10 posts are allowed to vote in polls, if they don't reach these requirements, then they simply cannot vote until they reach them.

This would most likely stop a large percentage of ALTs because people will have to make ALTs in advance and actually post a little bit before they can vote in a poll.

Potential Issues/Exploits:

Perhaps people who are actual players in the community but just don't use the forums will get impacted by this if all they want to do is vote in the poll which could decide the future of their favourite server.

Additional notes:

You could also see the above "negative" as a positive, because it then encourages people who aren't active on the forums but want to vote in a poll for whatever reason to become more active on the forums, therefore bringing the community a little closer together.

Also, perhaps not anyone can create these requirements for a poll. Only Global Mods+ can put requirements on a poll, and they're given a set amount of options to choose from.

Examples of requirements:

-Minimum of 3, 5 or 7 days of being registered on the forums
-Minimum of 10, 15 or 20 posts

I am sorry this would simply not work what so ever. As you said maybe people make an account to vote on the pole because they wanna have an impact on the server or community in general.... There is no way this can be done in a positive way. It will have to big of an impact on the users. And if you make this post because of the map vote. Don't worry all the ALT's will be banned and removed from the vote

Add this with my other suggestion, and we'll be good to go!

The alt's will already be dealt with, this would do more harm than good for new members of the community or SSRP players that haven't set up a forum account wanting to vote and have an impact in the community.

It's fine as it is, the vote ends in less than a week and the alternate accounts votes will have no affect and will be removed.

You also say that it will hinder those who don't use the forums, but want to vote for something. I stated that this could be a positive as it would influence them to start being active on the forums, and maybe they will develop a passion for the forums, increasing the amount of active posters and users.
