Server Name: DarkRP

Suggestion Title: Printer storage unit

How would it benefit the server: The printer storage unit will store all the printers the player inserted into it, reducing all of it to 1 entity.
You can collect the money straight from the printer storage and take printers out of it, code it however you want, the main point is reducing all the printers into 1 entity which will reduce the server's lag drastically when people are basing.

It could also be useful for raids, and it's recommended to make the printer storage unit have some effect on the printing, such as 10% more money and more upgrades up to you.


Potential Issues/Exploits: None if coded good

Additional notes: tl;dr-
storing all your printers in 1 entity.

It will reduce the lag so badly, as an example:

When BiB are basing the server is getting extremely laggy, and when their base is removed it's almost lag free. (on server #2 atleast).

one of the reasons it was lagging was because the printers were inside of each other or they were in a prop mario found it out

Yes, the printers are just colliding with themselves and with everything around them and it gets messy

I have a hard time believing that the printers themselves are the cause of the lag. They don't do any sort of extensive calls server side and should not be causing lag. If it was props or printers being forced into props then your solution wouldn't fix that either as the same thing would happen.

The other day it was about 20 gangsters basing in one big base at server two. Then it was additional 10 players not basing and the server was lagging alot. Except lag there could only be probs causing lag, but how is that possible when those were frozen.

They are lagging the servers where there are so many printers.
And if it's printers colliding into props causing the problem, it will obviously reduce the problem by a lot, instead of 10 entities colliding with each other there is gonna be only 1 entity colliding.
(10 entities as an example, now many people have alt accounts and it becomes pretty aids when big gangs are basing).

Try it for yourself on the test server if you would like, I remember atleast twice when BiB base went off and the server's lags were reduced by a lot.
