Suggestion Title: Rework the cheating policy

How would it benefit the server: Less cheaters = more players actually playing

Potential Issues/Exploits: Less of the current players

Additional notes: I think the policy in its current state protects cheaters, I think it should be reworked and cheaters should be dealt with far more harshly. The idea that someone can literally rage hack in spawn and only get punished for rdm (without a long voting process) is silly. No one has any fear of cheating because they know they can get away with it. I think its been mentioned in the past but a demo request wouldn't go a miss. I think with the rework of the policy an announcement is made saying all previous cheating punishments are now obsolete and from that point forwards anyone cheating is instantly banned. It is fair to allow people to stop cheating and continue playing on the server or to go find a different server that does accept cheaters.

This policy needs an entire rework because we shouldn’t have to wait for an entire LT to vote on BLATANT RAGEHACK and no action being done on the spot. Not only this, I’ve heard some higher up staff members literally shrug this off by saying “majority of the server cheat anyways”….. THIS IS FUCKING STUPID!!!!!! We need a much stronger stance against this kind of shit, it needs to stop and actually be looked into more but no one seems willing to actually make the server a more fun environment to play because of policy limitations and pure ignorance from time to time.

Love when they commit genocide via cheats, and have to wait couple days to properly punish the player.

nobody should be allowed to automatically ban, but there should absolutely be a real anticheat

My general thoughts is that the first time "kick" for cheating should be changed to a 3 month ban. The """"perm"""" ban for a second offence should be a mandatory 1 year ban. Often these cheating perm bans are lifted after only 3 or so months anyway.

I don’t think this is as big of a problem anymore as Yisyas and the United “King”dommers won’t be playing the server under 250 ping consecutively

I’ve always thought and agreed that hacking punishments should be a insta perm ban on the spot

There are too many times where cheaters get banned, and then have an accepted appeal within too short of a time.

I think cheating should be an instant ban, that cannot be appealed until after X amount of time

I tried to bring some changes to the policy last year and I was laughed at by the whole lead team, my goofy ahh colleagues were busy riding Xnator because he was too lazy to do any changes...

I genuinely hope it will open the discussion again and lead to concrete changes.
