Server Name: BHOP + SURF

Suggestion Title: Add BHOP + SURF to the US server

How would it benefit the server: It would increase the income of players by having players from NA etc join the servers and join the community and have a potential of increasing and expanding the staff team. Movement based servers is always better to play with a lower ping so allowing people who aren't from EU to play these gamemodes would be a good idea.

Potential Issues/Exploits: Idk if there is any more room for servers if planned

I doubt that moving Surf and BHOP to the US server would be a good idea. Both servers are already in pretty good condition according to the GameTracker rankings for their respective gamemodes. There are just as many or even more BHOP and Surf servers with high rankings that are based in the EU. There isn't much potential gain. We'd also have to take the potential risks into consideration. Switching over to the US server would probably cause some players from the EU to leave and search for another server with a better ping for them. If we're unable to compensate this loss in EU players with new US players in time it might even hurt our rankings and set us back by a lot. Overall it just seems like too much of a risk for a rather minimal gain.

Why would you want to join bhop/surf with 100 ping

I think you missed my point. If we move BHOP and Surf over to our US server it's only gonna shift the problem. Now the US players have a low ping but the EU players have a high ping. The existing EU players will move on to a server with a better ping and if we're not getting enough US players to compensate this loss in time it's gonna hurt the rankings and set us back.

Well TTT is a game mode where you need a consistent high player base to even get people to join, as it's not playable alone and not fun with only 3 or 4 people. Probably the main reason for the fail of TTT server 2 and the hardest part for new TTT servers.
Surf and Bhop however aren't game modes like that, you play them solo most of the time anyway and you would face nearly no disadvantages if you join an empty server, unless of course you just want to socialize.
I could see an US Surf and Bhop server do better than the TTT server (worse isn't really possible(sorry)), however I don't think people from the current server would join as it would be a shitty connection and they already have one with a good connection. And I don't think too many people are in need of a new Bhop or Surf server to build up a new community on the us server.

All in all I think its just not needed and wanted by a lot of known people, it might help to get new people into the community, but I don't think it would be more successful than the current servers.

I don’t think some people read the title properly, I’m saying to add those servers to the US host.. not move the servers from EU. NA people should have a better experience + it would increase the diversity and potentially bring in new community members.

Where is the risk behind this? The host itself is probably under little to no stress since TTT S2 is dead and S3 isn’t played that much at times and even so it’d probably have no side effects from it at all since the host is more than capable of having extra servers (same specs as EU if im not wrong?). If the CC/CM team are not too keen on the idea then at least give it a trial run so if it doesn’t work as expected you can just close down the servers if you aren’t satisfied.
