I find unlockable weapons a mixed bag. At one point it grants you the ability to achieve new things on the server for playing but at the same time, it feels that those who play for much longer might get quite an advantage based on the weapons stats. I'd get a feeling to rebalance them you'd want to have weapons be somewhat equivalent to one another, no one weapon should be more powerful than others.
- More ammo and high fire rate? Reduce the damage.
- Scatter and short-range? Increase damage.
- Slow firing with low ammo? Give it high accuracy.
One would not want to end up with what happened to SSRP where almost all weapons used back in the day would be the PSG for its high fire rate, exceptional damage and somewhat swift reload. But then again whoever managed balancing on SSRP anyway, regardless, in this game mode where gun vs gun battles are an essential core game mechanic (with few other options on how to approach a given situation) it is important that people do not have an unfair advantage over one another for having played longer on the server, that could drive new players away after all.
So yeah, I cannot offer much help in deciding upon new statistics for the guns in question nor offer up much of an explanation on which guns would need a nerf or a buff, but I can stress that it is important for those in charge of TTT's development should make haste with rolling out some sort of patch. I would've sat here and made suggestions on how to change them exactly but I don't feel like I'm qualified to do anything of the sort.
