How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
Well I've been on the staff team for over a month now, and during this time I've put myself in a Leader type role on the servers and am constantly reporting staff members and dealing with rule breaks. I've got a good relationship with the staff and lead team, and will continue to work on this and build them up.
My activity is superb, I've played actively for over 2 months on the servers and this will continue. I am also very active on teamspeak, and the forums. As a staff member I'm always on helping people, but also as a user. I'm constantly dealing with reports and appeals, here's just some of what I've dealt with in both of these sections with player and staff reports.
Overall, I'm active, friendly, helpful, dedicated, experienced, fair, responsible, and trusted. Unlike other candidates, a lot of the staff look to me for advice, and help.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want):
Helpful
A great quality of myself is my response time, dedication to helping the players, and the length's I'll go to deliver a great experience for everyone involved. I am online constantly dealing with report abuses, ban/warn appeals, and F1's. I play constantly on servers one and three and am always looking to help the users and staff teams.
Active
I'm a very active staff member. Below I'll post my gametracker images for my 30 days gametime/activity.
Trusted
I'm currently both a Surf and SSRP Administrator. With these powers I hold the ability to ban from each server and administrate accordingly. I've not had one report abuse with valid evidence, nor have I been spoken to about any ill minded behavior or actions.
Friendly
In game and out of game, I'm known to be a very friendly person. I do my best to stay out of drama, and give everyone a fair and equal chance and do not hold grudges. I will not user my super administrative powers to my advantage or against those I have problems with.
Hackers
I've caught over 20 hackers in this month alone as an Administrator. Some, I've banned on the spot as I know they're hacking, others I needed a lead team member to anti-cheat them to see if my suspicions. If I was a Super Admin, I could catch alot more cheaters and make the server a more fair place for everyone.
Fair
As a Moderator and Administrator, I've not had a SINGLE complaint about my punishments delivered to users and always give them a fair chance. I follow the ethos completely and never let my emotions overrule a punishment.
Experienced
I'm a former Head Administrator on the following ZARP servers:
SSRP
TTT
CS:GO 1V1
Minecraft
I'm a former Super Administrator on the following ZARP server:
Deathrun
I'm a former Owner on the following ZARP Server:
BHOP
I was also Teamspeak Head Admin and Forum Administrator.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
There was a situation on Server 3, not too long ago.
I was around the only administrator on the server and I had a few reports of a guy hacking. I started scrambling to message Super Administrators+ , no response. I began spectating and noticed that this player was aimbotting pretty easily. He had a lot of recent punishments for Mass RDM, the player was currently aimbotting spawn to death with an M249 and that's when I banned him.
Fast forward around 5-10 minutes later, I see another player doing this and he was also banned.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
Before even responding I'd review the report and get the players side of the story. If he was using the template and had proof of the staff member abusing no clip to raid his base, I would first respond with:
I'm handling this, I'll speak with "x" shortly.
I'd instantly go to player x and let him know of his previous history with abusing powers and let him know this would be brought up in the lead team meeting. I'd then respond to the thread with this:
Hello user, I've spoken with the admin in question and this will be brought up in the lead team meeting as the actions of him/her were disgusting and definitely abuse of powers. Thanks so much for this report.
:accepted:
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
I'd first approach him and get his side of the story. After getting this, I'd let him know while what the user did was out of line and breaking rules, the ban length should be shortened to ensure the ethos is followed as we do not punish harshly. We decide to change the ban to a day rather than a month.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I would teleport to the staff member and help him out with dealing with the user. Once we've resolved the conflict, I'd speak to him privately on teamspeak and we can work out how to approach problems like this more easily in the future.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
As this is a staff on staff situation, I'd approach it calmly and sensitively.
I'd speak to the administrator accusing the other separately and get his/her side of the story. I'd do the same then with the accused staff member. I'd get his/her side of the story equally and give each stories a fair chance. I'd them compare each story, look for any wrong doings and sort out if a rule was broken or not. If a rule was broken, I'd let the staff member know which rule he/she broke and correct them on this. If not, I'd assure both staff it's just a misunderstanding and laugh it off at the bar.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
Obviously drama needs to be stopped at the source.
I'd speak to the staff member starting this drama and address the concern. I'd tell him to knock off the disrespect and tell him it's not a good look on the staff team and only creating drama. Disrespect on any level is unacceptable. I'd tell him to take the day off to calm down, or just walk away from the computer and stay away from the staff that is involved in this drama equally. If this continued it would be dealt with by punishment and brought up in a lead team meeting. You don't have to like everyone, but you need to be able to respect and work with them.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
If a staff member is abusing his powers or breaking rules and harming others. I'd stop them in their tracks in game.
I'd let them know this is unacceptable, and see why they're doing this. I'd get them on teamspeak and speak to them about it. I'd try to get proof of this situation to bring it up in the LTM as well. If it continued and got to the point of the admin abusing powers that majorly disrupts players experience then I'd take their rank until it's brought up in the meeting.
I told Para I'd apply in a few months if I got administrator, it's been nearly a month since and I understand this is not what I'm doing.
I'm doing this mainly for feedback, for ways I can improve, and all criticisms are welcomed.
Some SA's/HA's have told me I should go for the position regardless.
