The statements meaning is that we should not obey other authority other than our own, decisions should be made on our own without any regulations holding you back bar your own judgement. Some may argue that ensuing this statement is a way to live and be more free life as you are only defied by yourself and not others this could be considered to be a better way as every decision you make will be made on moral judgement and not pursuing rulings that may stop you from doing what you believe in or would like to ensue. On the side of things people may say that living a life free of laws and measure keeps the peace and order as some people’s conscience may be different from others due to medical conditions such as anger management where people are unable to control their own emotions and conscience
