Calver, you should follow some tutorials on blending! Just some advice as I have some photoshop skills haha

In the case of NighT's one I wanted it to really stand out from the background, consequently I made the tree silhouettes to stop unwanted attention towards them and added a nice bevel/shadow. I appreciate your input though, I will definitely use that technique (if suitable) on other pieces.
