TOPIC: The current attitude in ZARP

TAKE SOME TIME TO READ THIS, IT'S NOT JUST A COPY AND PASTE
I was having fun at no one else's expense with my friend, and got reported for abusing.

No one was affected by it negatively, the biggest effect of it was someone getting 10 gang loot and Michael losing 15k to placing normal printers and not upgrading them.

The entire attitude is anti-fun, it's so annoying to constantly have someone on your back for having fun.

Punishments and reports are consistently being handed out nowadays just because they can. Not to enrich RP and remove malicious rulebreakers - just for the sake of it. This shouldn't be happening, as people are allowing their morals and common sense to come after their staff duties.

Put some thought into your report before you make it. Is it needed? Would it benefit the staff team as a whole? Could the situation be resolved in another way?

Same with your punishments - are they needed? Do they teach the punished a valuable lesson? Do they take care of malicious actions? Please, I urge EVERYONE to read this and take in what I've said.

I used to write stuff about how warnings/punishments are in place in order to enforce the rules and stop people having a shit experiance while playing but ultimately the "end goal" was to have fun therefore in certain situations like for example 1v1s or building a base while noclipped etc they may be looked over, But its always going to be a problem as people don't give a shit about making the server better they just care about getting you punished. Seriously, do you think that a 14 year old who sits there all day on his computer is gonna think twice about reporting you if you have done the slightest thing wrong, of course, it's not necessary but who cares this is a gaming community and you did something he didn't like so boom here's a report.

Me and Captin have recently been clamping down on to harsh punishments. It was just yesterday we removed a warning that was placed. If someone breaks a rule and it has literally zero effect on others then they should not be warned it is pointless and only harms the person being warned this is even stated in the ethos.
