TOPIC: [Forum Game] 3 Meaningful Songs!

Ok so its the weekend and I have like 3 essays to do but I was bored haha.

How's your week been?

This game works like this.
You post 3 links to 3 songs you like and you explain what it means to you (basically what the song says to you, why you like the song)

Im interested in listening to them, because I like a lot of kinds of music!

The songs I chose (not sure if they are my favourite, but I just thought about them):

First Song: Alone - Marshmallow

I like this song because the beat is just so nice and chill, and sometimes when I feel like there is no such place as home I like to think that there is a person who means "home" no matter where he/she is.



Second Song: Fuckin' Perfect - P!nk

I like this song because it is a little reminder to yourself that you should love yourself no matter what others think <3 It is just so beautiful and inspiring!



Third Song: Chainsmokers - Closer

Idk why but this song just popped up in my head. It is very chill and it brings some memories or thoughts you love!

I was on a school trip in my senior year, and I started hooking up with this girl. The night I kissed her they played this song at the bar and we danced like idiots like there was no tomorrow. It was one of those nights you wish they never ended.




Macklemore x Ryan Lewis - Wings

My all-time favourite song. Each time I listen to it, the world just stops spinning for 5 minutes and I sink into deep thoughts. I love how it makes you reflect upon basic things like popularity and marketing: do you want those shoes because you think they're pretty and comfy, or just because they're expensive and people will think you're 'cool'?




Miike Snow - Black&Blue (Netsky Remix)

My feel good song. Every time I listen to it my day gets a little bit better, it puts me in a good mood.

The song in my signature is hilarious that's what i like about it

Just cuz nostalgia

This cuz it's basicly the first song from my favorite rapper that i loved instantly, i nowadays rarely listen to anything else than Biggie Smalls

This cuz its just dope to listen with good bass.

Because i recently broke up with a girl that meant a lot to me but was treating me like shit. This was the only song that kept my head up



Sorta just makes me feel not alone about the confusion of belief, what's fake, what's real. His also an insanely talented artist and all his music makes me feel something. He speaks the truth while adding such an amazing flow and rhythm to it.



Makes you feel the reality and the thirst and problems that money bring with it. His flow is dope and the track just makes you feel something deep, whether it's extortion or economic failure. Just love it

I know its the version from Barnyard lmao. I couldn't a version that wasn't a shitty cover. This song just teaches you to never give up, even if you stand against the gates of hell.

2. Gustavo Santaolalla - The Last of Us

The main theme of perhaps the most emotionally powerful games I've ever played . Cutscenes in this game were brilliant and the story was fantastic. Landing as one of the best games I have ever played.

3. Crash Bandicoot 1 Main Theme

A song from my childhood. Perhaps the game I made the most as a kid which made my life as a wee lad great. This game is being remastered and I can't wait to relive my chidhood memories.

Whenever I need to calm down or I'm just stressed I listen to this and it really helps (fitting title I know)

I Got Mine - The Black Keys
My favourite song from theirs by a long shot. The Black Keys is one of my favourite bands and this song reminds me of The White Stripes which is also one of my favourite bands (favourite x3)

Where Is My Mind (Maxence Cyrin) -Maxence Cyrin
I don't know what it is but this just rips me appart and puts me back together. Has me speachless everytime.

Maybe - The Ink Spots
This gives me aaaall the feels. I used to play Fallout 3 (and NV) non stop and this reminds me of those times.

Reincarnation / Climax - Camo and Krooked
These songs really introduced me to Drum and Bass and they're still the best Liquid tracks by far


There's so much more but I'm on my phone so it's just way too much work.
