In the UK we have this thing called Army Cadets, I don't know if America have it etc. But yeah I don't know if i could take it tbh but idk I might rulebreak and RDM my team Or NLR Nah but legit i might. I had a few friends who were in the Army Cadets. They didn't really speak about it much but I can expect it'd be like scouts except there's a higher expectation of discipline and respect for the cadets.

About your concerns for the police, I was actually considering applying for Police Scotland back before I got my job in IT. Obviously, the police having a ranking system much like the army, I highly doubt that you'd need to have the same etiquette as the army would. My work experience was with Police Scotland and I can say that it was a fairly relaxed environment (might vary between forces), but it wouldn't do any harm to not join the cadets apart from take up your time.
