Hey guys i know this is not topic related but i am getting scared and idk what to do

so their have been these guys who have been msging me on skype saying that they will ddos me and dox me i dont know what to do i am getting real freaked out cuz idk if they can do it i have never been ddosed before and i dont want to plz help me]

Look up how to mask your IP on skype theres something that you can do to hide it but I'm not sure of the top of my head and in regards to the doxing there isn't much you can do about it if you have similar names on skype as your other social media accounts. Your best bet is to go around your accounts and enable all the privacy settings so people can't see anything if there not friends with you on them accounts. You could also contact the Police if it gets to much and they will help you out with it and give you some more advice on what to do next.

Step one, block them all on skype and avoid all contact with them. Kids on the internet try to threaten DDOS's all the time but most of the time they're empty threats. Hope for the best but plan for the worst. I'd speak with your parents and try to change your IP by turning off your router for like ten minutes or calling or ISP and ask them to manually change it.

Most people that threat to ddos you just resolve your ip and show it just to scare you, just follow these steps in case either way if they use resolvers

Okay so dont worry too much if you have a good internet most of there free ddos software or anything else for that matter will not do much.

Dont talk to them on skype specially calling them! If you call them they can just find your ip true that but again even if they do they need an actual booter to ddos you and again if they are using some free shit they found on the internet that wont do much unless they pay for actual services that will ddos you.

to hide your ip you can use VPN's (virtual private networks) you can get some good programs for free.
Make sure your private information like e-mail's usernames are hidden.
Steam has a decent protection for ip's
they could get your ip via TS3 but it would be hard as ts usualy shows way too many ip's for them to know witch one is actually yours

So dont worry and if your internet does die because of a ddos call your ISP or get your parents to call the ISP and tell them that your internet is not working and also tell them that you did get some ddos threads and they will sort out the problem for you.

I get ddosed all the time and it's pretty funny not much happens apart from you lag a bit

Best idea is just to block them buddy it's most likley just empty threats but just in case it's not you might to avoid all contact with them.

Don't use skype, stop being stupid, install a VPN, turn the off button on your computer, go outside, get a job and a life.
