I do prefer the old admin events, they felt more creative and personal. I don't want the automated ones removed, but it would be nice to have some good manual events. I'm glad to see a few people offering to host them, for the users that want to take part in these you can always just ask staff that are on if they are willing to host events when there aren't a bunch of people in need of help.
