TOPIC: Double Posting Clarification

I've seen some people keep posting on some threads "Don't double post, use the edit button" and that's okay in some situations. But some people word it as if you've just broken the worst rule that you can break, ever. And that's obviously not the case, because double posting is NOT against the Forum's TOU.



Now, there is one thing that is in the TOU which Double Posting can fall under.
So, if someone double posts, don't immediately postActually read, yes read the post before complaining about the double post.
If it's constructive, don't even bother with posting. Because if you do, YOUR POST complaining about double posting will the one breaking TOU by not being constrictive itself.
If it's not constructive, use that "report to moderator" button below the post. We'll take care of it for you, and you won't look like a complainer. I know that's not a word.

One more thing.
You can bump a thread before 24 hours has gone by. (That's not in the TOU either! In fact, it's still considered constructive!)

I used to use forums where double posting often got you a ban, so I always edit my post, no double post. It doesn't bother me personally, but I still worry when I double post. Glad that that sort of rule does not apply here!
