actually it was "the more you talk, the more stupid you sound" it is frustrating. Because even after I made this post saying that if you know nothing about mal ware, don't touch it. I really shouldve picked "you are flaunting your ignorance"

Feel free to warn it but leave the technical analysis to people like me whose passion it is. Lock it if YOU think it needs to Idc. It's interesting to see this responses.

If it's a virus i'll delete it from my pc, i don't need to know any details.
If you are talking about the people that post things like "new malware posted on steam profiles" then it doesn't make the guy look stupid who posted it, he wanted to warn us, and for warning us he doesn't need to be a pro-virus-specialist. I think you guys should be thankful that people are trying to help you. I am just having enough of all this negative bullshit of people complaining about everything.

Soccer vs. Football
waa waa waa... it's called soccer. No it's called football. waa waa waa..

Ps 4 vs Xbox One
Both are the fucking same but we're going to fight anyways.

PC vs Console
seriously, who gives a shit if someone has a console and someone else has a PC.

Religion vs religion
This is also very common. Aswell as the people who believe in nothing vs people who are religious.

Why does someone have to give a f*ck about someone else's opinion/religion/console.
Quality. Good luck trying to remove over 60% of male are that aren't detected by antivirus software. Plus root kit. Even 60% of Zeus is undetected.

I like people warning other people. It is those who say things like "it's not malware" or "the anti virus companies don't care about it"
While there is slight truth to the second one, it's because they will spend more time analyzing the newest strains of Zeus.

Yep true. Chris_Smith already gave a good and correct explanation in the previous post of what these spreading Steam links actually are. When they were really noticed a few months back even the codes used in those executable files were spreading through reddit etc. They are NOT malware.
His explanation was far from correct. You would be incredibly stupid/ignorant to assume that all stealers have in them is a steam stealer. Anyone who is going to go through the trouble to infect your pc so they can steal your items, would more then likely include something else inside that exe(Rat, Keyloger, Trogen, Ect).

Not to mention IF you look at the definition on Malware, "malware refers to software programs designed to damage or do other unwanted actions on a computer system." So unless your telling me that people enjoy/want people using a program to maliciously take control of your computer and empty their inventories. The steam stealers would 100% be classed as malware. If you don't know what your talking about at least take some time to look things up before spouting random and false information.

Did you check if they have any other malwares, such as rats? Proof would be great because till now they have nothing other then steam stealer as they call it. (Just call it steam stealer so others understand)

Also if you followed up our arguement I did say they are malware. Ofcourse after some arguements. Please someone give a good explanation if you think mine is wrong, instead of arguing each other give a good explanation.
