TOPIC: Need serious help with my Gmod!(Prize if you help)

So 2 days ago i tried to join zarp ssrp 1 and while joining Gmod crashes to desktop before saying sending client info always, in the past this rarely happened to me but now it crashes everytime i try to join, i tried different servers to join and all are the same so now i can't join any server because it crashes everytime i try to join any

This is the error that i'm getting after getting crashed while joining the server:

After alot of tries it joins the server but not always like today i tried to join like 6 times until i was able to join the server after that i couldn't join no matter how many times i try

Tried to delete my gmod addons and didn't work
Tried to verify my gmod files also didn't work

Please help me because i'm so annoyed for not being able to play online at all

run in dx9 or update your direct x

validate gmod's game cache

verify game cache or go on steam go to steam press end then restart steam then start gmod

Try Uninstall Gmod Then Dowload It again don't worry this will not delete anything u just have to wait a couple of mins for it install you addons.

Unsubscribe from all workshop addons and re-install gmod.

I think this happened to me when playing pirated games. For me i just quit steam then login in steam again then it works.

Did you try...

Turning it off and on again?

@SwordPlay Tried the last 3 steps: made my gmod to dxlevel 8 worked once then i got a similar error but i will try to reinstall my gmod

You can open the factory reset bat file in the gmod folder, just try unsubscribe to everything first then give that a shot. If it still fails, try reinstall the game.

go to properties of gmod, verify integrity of game cache, then restart your pc. Open it again see if it works, if not, uninstall, reinstall, then do the first step i just told you

unbindall in console.



Jk jk jk, check if you have a windows update or try unsubscribing from all your addons then reinstalling gmod.
