Normally for me, I would do a computer reset and it fixes my problems right away.
All I can say is just disable a lot of your addons and make sure your computer isn't running awfully (by running multiple of tasks in the background, etc).

try add this as a launch parameter

Uninstall ark

try to add in launch properties:

if you have DX 7 type: -dxlevel 70

if you have DX 8 type: -dxlevel 80

if you have DX9 with Shader Model 2 type: mat_dxlevel 90

if you have DX9 with Shader Model 3 type: mat_dxlevel 95

if none worked, Then try to type in console: connect 185.38.149.104:27015

make sure that you allowed all custom files to be downloaded from server.

It is only zarp that I cannot join. All other servers are fine.

And please no not say to me "restart your pc" or " uninstall gmod" because I have obviously thought of that already.

Try removing all the content that you have and installing the content used on ZARP such as m9k, and the custom packs we have on the workshop. If the issue persists I'd advise looking into possible network issues instead of client issues as there might be something stopping you from connecting to the servers.

If possible I'd like to know if you're able to join other ZARP servers such as deathrun, bhop or TTT.

This can be locked. Just took alot of file configuaration. And deleting alot of gmod content. And it eventually worked.
