TOPIC: Why are PHX Glass Props blacklisted?

Just out of curiosity, I wondered why phx glass props are banned.
Sometimes people shoot out windows in the buildings, and sometimes I want to replace them properly.
With phx glass props banned, I can't exactly do that- so I wondered why are they not allowed?

As an interesting note; glass plates are banned, but specialized glass props, such as the dome, are not blacklisted. Why???

They break to smaller pieces which start to burn.

Now I can see why it's blacklisted. Shame. I really like the glass D:
Despite how obvious it can be abused, I have never seen someone attempt this.

If the glass catching fire is so problematic, can it be patched?

Mikkula is 'correct' - theoretically.

All of the Glass prop(s) are used for: Propkilling, they're used to 'crash' unwary servers; and there's no way to patch this other than 'blacklisting' it, if you -need- to use a 'window'; Just materialize it.

It's the only allocatable way.

Pieces of glass are uses for minging. Like for example: When you break any piec of glass this starts burning, so if you put it close to a player this automatically hurts the player.
