What alt mean ? Alt account is short for Alternate Account.

An Alternate Account.is a separate Account from your main that you use, it is usually has a lover level or less items/money
If your Alt Account gets banned you cannot use your main
If a friend gives you his account to use, that becomes and Alt account of yours and you cannot use it if you're banned
If any of the accounts are banned that you used the rest should be banned and you cannot use until the first one to be banned gets unbanned

There is a program called "sandboxie", it allows you to open a second steam platform on your PC.

if your alt is banned you can use the main ?
No.

if your friend give you heis account you can use it as alt ?
Yes you can.

if you get banned on main can you use your alt ?
No.
