⭐ Deathrun April 2023 Update ⭐

The Deathrun server will be updating at 12 PM BST on Saturday, 08/04/2023.

In this update we'll be adding a new killfeed, new HUD, two new Power Rounds, some CS:GO knive unlocks, changes and fixes to Ghost mode, Power Rounds, RTD, HUDs, scoreboard, spawns and more.

HUDs

New Killfeed

I'm aware Deathrun had a killfeed in the past, but it's been missing for some years now. Players have asked to bring back the killfeed for the gamemode. We've been using the default killfeed for some weeks now. It's clear it needs a replacement. So, this new killfeed aims to replace it. It has a lot in common with the one on Prop Hunt, as I have drawn inspiration from that one.

New 'Classic' HUD

This new HUD is made to be in the theme of Arizard's Deathrun with the font and colors.
Basic, but not too minimalistic. It displays round information, team-by-color, HP and Velocity.

RTD

bind <key> dr_rtd

Using the above bind will allow you to set a key of your choosing to trigger RTDs. This is so you can set a bind for RTD that will not spam "!rtd" in the chat when on other servers. Otherwise, it will use 'gmod_undo' (which is bound to the Z key by default), as the key to trigger RTD. This does not replace the !rtd command.

FIXES AND STUFF

Improved collisions in Ghost mode on some maps, added further checking to reduce cases of spawing in the wrong spawns, and being able to spectate other dead players. And more. Check out the changelog on Saturday for more details.
