TOPIC: All Deathrun Staff Read.

THIS IS ALL MY OPINION.

Recently the staff team has gone a bit down hill. The activity is dropping. And even when some are on, I'm not seeing them do much.
I was just on the server with about 15-20 players. There were two admins (including me) and one moderator. I'm not going to name any names, but they weren't enforcing the rules enough. I was the only staff member doing anything, apart from the occasional verbal warn off the mod. It's unfair to the staff members who actually try.

I am aware I haven't been on much recently, but that is due to my internet being under maintenance that the owner is aware of.

Just because the minimum hours needed is 3 hours, doesn't mean that's what you should aim for. We should all be aiming higher, and trying to get as many hours as possible.

I hope to see you all on the server more often, and enforcing the rules and punishments more.

The response to staff activity going down on Deathrun originally was the incorrect way on a few levels. If the average activity of your playerbase is going down on a server, you don't lower the activity requirement, you develop new content to bring back players and keep them engaged.

Staff team is full proof shit and alot of them are judgemental af they can exploit and mic spam but of users do any of that it's warn the systems fucked dezmond sort it out and also add shit ty

I've been seeing this very commonly and it's quite disappointing to see.

I often see staff members doing this, and I'm going to start speaking to people and reporting staff for it.

If you ever feel like I'm doing this, PLEASE let me know and I'll correct it. Usually, if this ever happens with me (Most of the time it doesn't) it's down to me coming on the server while doing the spreadsheet or just tabbing out, but if you see ANY rulebreaks that you think I should handle that is not already being handled, notify me of it immediately.

I don't think that the activity is dropping. It's actually pretty impressive at the moment. There are a few that could improve but overall it looks pretty good. However the staff's attitude lately, it haven't been great and that needs to be improved. And Morgan is totally right in this situation, we definitely need new content. You're bascially just trying to level up because most people already have a huge amount of points and nothing to spend it on.
It's been like that for a long time, so for some it might not be entertaining anymore. I'm sure some are enjoying to level up but that's not the case for me. Deathrun teams would be great to have but it's still on standby I guess. I don't know what else we could add to server but we need something new.

I think a reason that some staff members aren't doing mutch is because they are simply scared to make a mistake. The team should help each other and take advice but i have seen people just bringing each other down instead of helping.

I and Dezmond, messaged each other about this the other day, it's pretty alarming that some staff members sometimes don't even want to do their job. It feels as if when higher staff members are online they rely on them to enforce the rules, this is not the case and everyone should be doing their best to keep this server in good shape, if you're going to apply for staff only do it if you're willing to do your job and get your activity. There are some staff members that do an outstanding job and we're happy to have them on our team but sometimes I see staff members online who really need to step up their game. I was online the other day and I heard someone saying some really disrespectful things in voice chat, there were plenty of staff members online at the time that could have dealt with it but failed to do so and somewhat ignored it, I had to step in and punish, there are some other examples of this sort of thing happening but I'm not going to make a list since I'm not here to call out the staff team in anyway, we are a team and should work together, help each other out and do your best. We appreciate everyone for their continued hard work. If you aren't dealing with things because you're unsure how to or a stuck in a tricky situation ask your team they will help you, never be afraid to admit that you've forgotten something or that you don't know how to deal with a situation, everyone makes mistakes and everyone has bad days. Thank you, Sarah, for making this post we should all work together to resolve this issue and the Lead team will help in anyway possible we're always here to help you.
