TOPIC: Prologue to MEME ENGINE

"On the apex of time, It sprouted from its cocoon and spread its wings; The Universe." The detective reads off the contents of a bloodied up diary. All around him is a grisly murder scene, body parts and organs all strewn about.

"Shit look at this.." One of the FBI agents finds a patch of skin stretched across a canvas with the words "It won't let me sleep". The agents all seem pretty disgusted by what has gone down here, however what is more chilling is the victim and his family. They are the Connor family, all pretty normal and the youngest brother was a writer, the middle brother was a graphics designer and the oldest was a normal guy working an average job as a cashier...

The youngest brother seems to be the murderer, due to his body being almost completely intact. No wounds are present on his body, he just is on his knees his torso upright with his head bent back.

The agent completes his debriefing to the Chief of the Bureau "That is all?" The chief asks the FBI agent, who responds clearly "Yeah..". Though he does also tell of certain smaller things like the lack of ink in the youngest brothers pen and the ripped up pieces of paper all about the room. "Pretty interesting... it doesn't seem like he has a motive aside from possibly going insane.." The chief of the bureau looks over the file on the youngest brother. "So why come to me?" He asks the detective, quite curious as to the reason...

He seems quite scared to say it... though after a bit of prying the answer is forced out "I haven't been able to sleep either... I write things in my spare time and I.. I don't know whats going on.." The detectives name is Jeremy... and this is just the beginning of his worries.

The Year is 2065, 4 years before the activation of the MEME ENGINE.
