TOPIC: Your opinion on the update so far?

I have mixed feelings.
On one hand we did get a new case with some cool items like the suit and the predator.
But on the other hand the rest of the items are kind of dissapointing.
I mean the ice printer is basicaly just a reskin of the magik which was a reskin of the gcp which was a reskin of the festive ect ( I don't know the correct order that the printers came out but you get the point ) with some new particles effect. The radiation shield is an interesting idea but considering the lack of peoples even basing let alone nuking it's purpose is questionable.

And then we have basicaly two skins probably taken from somewhere else and slapped into the new case and really feel like " filler items ". ( Forgive me if you actualy worked on the skins tough, they still look pretty good but I just feel like a new case should bring novelty items to mess around and not just skins ).

Annnnd... That's about it with the update really. From what I heard all the gifts and the wheel were already present last year. The map is just the regular version with the exception of some slight modification in the wh district, some christmass trees here and there and snow. And as for other gimmicks there really is no incentives for players to play.

No x3 printers, no unique craftable ( Besides the santa skins and stuff but that's more to meme around than anything ), no unique rewards in the event on S1, no features that makes people want to base/nuke, no new charachter upgrade ect.

Now I know this might seem like an unjustified complaint given that it's basicaly " free content " ( Tough that can be argued by the way booster packs are shoved in our face as one of the only way to get steam cases and in the previous updates the fire box ), but we are looking at possibly another 4 months before another update. And with the low ammount of new content there is right now, Im pretty sure the server's popularity is going to suffer from it. Already before the christmas update both server 2 and server 3 had an average of 10 players at best. With sometimes both of them reaching 2-3 players on evenings. Only server 1 managed to keep a good ammount of players with an average of 70-80 players but slowly decreasing as the active player base is slowing going away leaving nothing but a bunch of shop owners and afk citizens in spawn.

Anyway, I'd like you guys to voice your opinion about the update.

Red Dress and Tuxedo in the Ice Box was the shittiest idea they could've come with. It's pretty clear that the population S1 dropped, in updates its usually full the first 3-4 days (active players) now it's only Shop Owners, the craftaeble outfits were reused from last Christmas and the Item o' Matic sucks fucking dick

I woud love to see the owners actually work on items that are already in the game rather than add new ones. It would be nice to have an updates on the current weapons such as damage adjustments etc or new features added.

Basically improve things that are already in the game. There are tons of great suggestions to look at.

Im glad to hear your opnion about this Jool. The only thing i can give you an answer on is the mapping part.

40% of the Christmas theme is the regular version, which i want to keep that way. The whole spawn area, and the whole new lighting system is a new thing, same there is now also introduced a skybox finally. Which in my opnion is a huge improvement for me and the furture of the map. I can agree that we did not focus on what players could do of the basing part, in this map i was only focused to give people the christmas spirit. (and then ofc. the lounge). We also fixed a huge amount of problems with the map, that you might not be able to notice. The mine ladders was one of them.

I don't hope you think im against your opnion or anything, i just wanted to stated some of the parts we changed. I hope in the future i wont dissapoint you.

Thought I'd play the update abit as I've not played for months, I joined got RDM'd which was a slight inconvenience then got called a stupid Ni**** by what seemed to be a 11 year old kid and got rdm'd about 3 times, lets just say I'm not coming back lol.

I got 8 cases

4 white suits

3 red dresses

One predator

In all fairness everyone was complaining earlier on this year that they wanted more cosmetic suits rather then OP suits, so you guys cant really complain about them

I was hyped about the update at first, probably because we haven't had one since easter. The odds were decent for once and i actually managed to get jackpot once and some other stuff. However the odds needs to be alot higher in order to be worth spending "hard earned" gems on.

The evo suit is really fun and i like the new launcher but pretty much everything else feels like garbage.

Edit: Why hasn't there been a solution to people rushing with amphetamine yet? Every solution basers come up with gets patched/nerfed without any form of replacement.

First of all, thank you to the developers for making this update and especially to Pariz for providing this beautiful map which actually gives me a christmas feeling.

To the Ice Case. It has some dope items in it, the Evo Suit amazing looks, the Predator , oh god Im gonna rip mine so quickly. I personally would have loved to see some more creative innovation. An item which is actually new and not another form of an already existing item. Just to throw it in the mix, create an entirley new item with its own mechanics and maybe build on that. I like the update because I can navigate through it and make huge amounts of money, but I would have a new creative way of playing instead of a reskin.
