to maintain a healthy server I think a communication should be established with the players to hear their ideas and concerns. Something like a community liaison in which takes place on the teamspeak every so often. Understandably, bringing out updates, surprises and all that jazz is nice but when these updates are only created from one perspective which is the owners, the players have no choice but to stick with it even if it's something we don't like. Instead, the owners can focus on what the players want to see not what they want.
There's so many things I agree and disagree with throughout this entire thread but this specific paragraph caught my attention, there are so many good suggestions being posted every week that can potentially improve the state of the server, and they pretty much get brushed under the rug by the owners, I can't even remember when was the last time a suggestion was accepted AND implemented in the server, I'm not trying to call out the owners or anything rude, I'm just putting it the way I see it, maybe it is different and I am wrong, who knows.
The biggest example is the recent Gauss Rifle change, no one asked for it, no one complained about the Gauss Rifle being OP, the gun was fine as it is, it was changed anyway, and now it's as useful as a piece of Coal, and even when suggestions were made to revert or at least buff the gun a little bit, nothing was done about it.
On the other hand we have the Hand Cannon, which constantly has suggestions against it, mostly to get it nerfed, and yet nothing gets done, the most recent one
by Sam the Sausage, which got support from a good amount of players, still nothing.
The undeniable negligence of the owners and developers to the server and player base has an immense effect.
The recycled content through half the updates is almost enough. Buying boosters instead of printing or even
mining now is how money is made and reused. I shouldn't have to empty some of my wallet because I'm at a disadvantage from players with multiple hypers, juggs and golden juggs.
I agree completely, the one-way communication makes me not want to play personally. Maybe I'm not at all on the inside of how apparently anything works, but this is understandable to a certain extent, but not understandable nor justifiable even after you check the wants of players or even the suggestions page - not yet including how long people have wanted some form of simple change.
Whatever, not like it'd do anything if I decided to suggest something or voice my opinion otherwise. Rarely do community suggestions actually get accepted, hell, I can barely even remember the last one.

We aren't looking for relentless or 2-man bases, we want bib bases to raid for enjoyment. And there were none
From our perspective, we all made such a ridiculous amount of money that there is no need to base anymore, being rich is cool, but eventually you feel like the money you have is enough, hence why some of us are getting bored, because it's basically an "okay, now what?" situation, there is nothing to do other than Raid PD/Raid Bank a few times then go off the server.
Oh, no, no. I was responding to Raeker. The fact that there aren't many good bases to raid wasn't meant to be a complaint at all. If I wanted to have fun with skillful people I'd raid PD, bank or do 1v1s.
When you gut the game mode by removing the point of basing and therefore raiding and give everyone insane amounts of wealth and items, it hinders the total possible amount of fun I'd be able to have, I'd think many others too.
