TTT Map Suggestions

Hello everyone, let me introduce myself to those who may not know who I am. I go by the name of Mix3rz and I have been in & out of this community for the last 6 years. I am now a Map Developer within the Community Council. I recently worked on the Christmas map for the Minecraft TTT server.

I had some really great feedback from some of you on that map and it went down really well. I am now looking to you the community for some help. I would like to see what people would like to see in the future for TTT. This could be anything from a small change to a complete redesign of a building.

In a basic format, I would just like to see what people would want to be changed to the current TTT map. (TTT_Minecraft_b5)

So it's now up to you. Give it your best shot and I will see what I can do to make it happen!

Fixing the lighthouse ladders or getting rid of them for a similar design that was used on the Christmas map would be muy bueno

I really liked the jump from the tree near tester to the Christmas tree. It would be cool if there was an alternative way to get to the top of lighthouse by doing some parkour round the back side. It would also give an alternative to dealing with the ladders

I don't believe Mix3rz has planned to change it to b6, it would be ttt_minecraft_b5_zarp (most likely)

If you saw the Halloween map, what was changed in the tower was pretty good, also the new caves that it added weren't too bad.

The nether could do with spicing up, maybe add a little nether fortress or something along those lines.

The smaller T room that's built into the cliff needs something in there as well, maybe a button that costs 1/2 credits to use that poisons the water for a number of seconds, similar to the easter egg of rooftops.

I'd like to see a creeper trap under the lighhouse. One that works the same way as the one from minecraft city, where a creeper is visable behind some glass and explodes when a traitor activates it. The indent to the right of the stairs leading into the cave seems like a decent place for it.

Others have said this, the ladders are awful.

I'll be posting on this thread as more ideas come to mind :)

Here are some suggestions for the b5 map:

1. Raise nether skybox.
2. nether corner to which you can parkour to has some 2 lava blocks which dont burn you. (medal.tv/clips/41133004/d1337JHSVUa8)
3. The opposite corner should be completely blocked out.
4. Maybe raise the hitbox for soda machines so when you id bodies you don't accidentaly buy the drink.
5. When you jump on the t room you sometimes clip the ladder which launches you up and causes fall damage. (medal.tv/clips/41132510/d1337sBDw4Qa)
6. Missing textures under the tester. (medal.tv/clips/41132110/d1337vaQtOWU)
7. Nether trap doesn't have a ramp (medal.tv/clips/41132881/d1337fptJ8DM)
8. The T room with a door kills all the people hugging it when activated by an innocent walking into it
9. The lava drop t trap under the tester sometimes kills players above it randomly.
10. Missing textures in two od the trees.
11. Minecarts on the track get launched at players sometimes when the Tnt trap is activated.
12. The lighthouse... (prnt.sc/wl9219)
13. It would be nice if the water that pushes shit back to land was a bit further to prevent people throwing the diamond/gold blocks beyond it.

Some of those things are very minor and dont think its necessary, also not all of them have clips explaining them but if you need more information on them i can make the clips afterwards if you message me on discord.

The t room under lighthouse definitely needs spicing up, you can't wait there and the chest servers no purpose, it costs 1 credit and gives you a random t wep, why not just spend that 1 credit on whatever you want? Making it give you 2 random weapons for a credit might be too op so I say just get rid of it.

Replacing the ladders with stairs has been suggested again and again but it is really a good suggestion so I thought I'd just mention it again.

A sort of tunnel for traiters, connect the t rooms with remote locations on the map like the side of the cliff or by the rocks.

A creeper head that can be carried with the magneto stick and can be blown up by ts would be cool, you could throw it at groups of people and it would spawn in the tower on the 3rd floor next to the chest where you put the diamond block.

The nether is also pretty unused and a fortress like jimjam suggested would be cool but would need to be a major change for it to be effective.

Making it possible to survive the nether trap by landing on the fence would reward more aware players it wouldn't be a major nerf to the nether trap since you need to land it perfectly to survive

Oh yeah there's that tree with the minecart on it next to the hut and you can see through it because the textures arent there and it would be cool if that went

i think fixing the entrance to both t rooms would be nice, the one under the lighthouse can be broken by innocents making them appear as a t, and when someone opens the first door at the center of the map, people as tend to believe those people are traitors, maybe make it so the diamonds can only be broken by traitors, and the sign next to the door says "Innocents that enter will be killed" or something.. you get the point haha

So, The ladders that lead up from the water are relatively annoying to get on at times, It's the same with like every ladder but especially with the water ladders, a possible fix might be adding additional ladders below the water, Not too sure if that'd cause more problems than it's worth though.

Basically the suggestion here is just making those ladders work easier ig

The issue with the ladders is that it’s using the oldest method of making ladders. Hammer has changed its ladders since then and made another way to make them and they are so much better. I used the newer method in the Christmas map and will be doing the same with the ladders in the zarp version as they will be more reliable and not be a pain like the current ones are.

wouldnt it be cool if there was a trap on the top of tower - the glowstone explodes and kills everyone up tower. however to activate the trap it costs a credit. sound good or too OP?

I think a discombob type thing that pushes people off would be better.
sometimes people just fall in water and/or get blocked by the roof, so mostly a recombobulator is ineffective
