Server Name: SSRP 1, SSRP 2 & SSRP 3 Staff Team

Suggestion Title: Discord for the Staff Team

How would it benefit the server:

Announcements
Staff could easily be informed about new changes to server rules, ethos or otherwise small adjustments which might have an impact of staffing. It would be a platform with which every single staff member could be easily informed, no matter if they are active on the forums, teamspeak or on steam.

Communication
It would make communication for staff related work easier. A lack of staff on one server, have a quick post in the chat, have a question on how to handle a situation, ask it there. It would make working as a team a lot easier. You require leadteam on a server, you post your request there.

Appeals
Oftentimes reaching your fellow staff members over steam is hard, either they don't accept you or they don't notice you. On discord it's made easy, every staff member is in the group, every staff member can be addressed in private.

Conclusion
It would overall make communication between the staff team easier, having positive effects on teamwork and making the exchange of important information very easy. It would be highly important for it to be a serious staff work discord only, it's there to assist the staff team, not to distract it.

Potential Issues/Exploits:
Discord being used for things, that aren't staff related.

Additional notes:
Discord makes communication easier then ever. Having Discord as a chatting platform to exchange information could bring an improvement in speed, efficiency and teamwork. Thanks for any feedback!

I dont think it even needs to be suggested. Really any staff member can do this and people can ask to be invited (staff). Hell Pegasus, you could make the channel right now and get as much staff as you could on it.

It would be good for it to be official though, with all the ranks Ill sure set it up but I would hand over charge to the server owners and CM team. And making it mandatory would also be a good thing I think.

From what I've heard teamspeak staff (which is easier to get than is used to be) can also see IP's.

TS3 Staff and Head Admins cannot view connected/disconnected users IP's, they can only view IP's on the ban list.

If Onion had leaked the ip then maybe but sending someone their own IP in a private message doesn't sound like abuse to me. Especially when that guy had just posted like 4 or 5 of his old IPs.
