- So I've been playing ZARP for a good 5 years now, it used to be fun with the old CSS weapons and golf carts. That's what brought me into ZARP, the pointshop and all of those "silly" things really made ZARP stand out. It's possible that the release of the Special Car blueprint pushed me to resign, it really felt like all of the loyal and "old" members of the community had received a big "fuck you" from the community. This also brought me to remember the old staff team, the one I wanted to be part of. Nobody gave a shit about "What are we gonna add to the next booster packs when it's the update?", because, well simply there were none.
- You might say that the people who have been playing SSRP for a few years just don't like change, yet that's not the case. It seems like the staff team just wants to get rid of us, such as taking away what we had to work for and putting it into a BP format. Sure, it's fun to hop on sometimes, but the SSRP servers' staff team are mostly there for their own benefit. I'm not saying that the entire staff team is like this, there are still some excellent staff members in the community, but they seem to all be resigning one after the other. Hell, couldn't anybody focus on the hitboxes? I'm sure many would agree that instead of updates a hitbox fix would prove more of an interest to SSRP players.
- So truly, why am I resigning? It's a simple answer, I'm tired of repeating the same shit. As a moderator especially, if you take a different approach to being a staff you're instantly disregarded as "lazy". This is mostly cause the only approach to progress in the staff team is to get f1's done as fast as possible. Personally, I took this different type of approach, finding exploiters etc..., yet even though I had a decent amount of f1's done previously, you're instantly denied as admin if you had to work on school projects throughout that time. "Why didn't he apply when he was more active?", to answer that I will simply say, does it make a difference when I apply? If I do my job well, why wouldn't I be accepted, while somebody with >30 f1's be accepted even when they were barely active? I might be salty that my admin app was denied, yeah sure, I'm giving up too early, but why would I want to do the same shit over and over again? I've been told by former administrators that it is not what you think it is, this is know what I believe as every resigned administrator I ask they repeat the same thing. There's no more fun if you don't minge around and buy booster packs to pretend you're richer. How does a community not realize they're doing something wrong when they can't keep old members in their community, like for fucks sake, you can barely convince new players to not quit ZARP after their first week!
