Great guide, will be especially helpful to future staff applicants and users alike!
Also, I took the liberty of fixing your grammatical mistakes (found bolded), with most of them being minor. I also, suggest putting "gametracker" or "server time" somewhere in the title to make it more obvious as to what time you're referring to if you catch my drift though it's not entirely important.

Introduction
As we all know, gametracker is used to count someone's play time on a server and especially so for when they want to apply for a staff role. A lot of people complain saying their gametracker is inconsistent when it comes down to tracking someone's time so I decided to make this guide to help you all make sure your time is counted.
Disclaimer: This is purely from Trial & Error and nothing has been confirmed.
General Information
The game tracker always sees you on the server and is supposed to track you as well, however, for some unknown reason it usually only counts if you have a score. Sometimes your time will be counted even without you having a score but if you wanna be sure of it then you will need to gain a score.
All the servers and what to do to get points
TTT+Murder
even A single kill on an enemy team player (e.g. Innocents killing Traitors, Traitors killing Detectives, a Murderer killing a bystander, etc.) is enough for your time to be counted. For your points to be counted you need to wait for that round to end.
How to make sure you got the points?
Look at the scoreboard (tab by default) and check that your score is above 0.
What if I've killed myself by accident and my score is below 0?
Open up the server's gametracker
and check to see if you have any score there.
Bhop+Surf
All scores gained on Bhop and Surf are gained on a map change so as long as you were connected to the server before a map change was made then your time will be counted as usual. The other thing you can do to make sure is by completing the map, as on both servers completing a map will give you points for it.
Deathrun
On Deathrun, killing someone of the opposite team with a melee weapon (e.g. when you choose the knife end) contributes 1 point, easter eggs that also give you a special trail on specific maps will also contribute 1 point. Some traps when activated, identify the player being Death as the person that kills the runner and therefore gains a point. Points are counted at the end of every round.
How do I make sure I got my points?
You check the server's game tracker
and make sure your points are above 1.
Prop Hunt
On Prop Hunt, you only gain a score from killing props as a Hunter, however, the score only gets added on your game tracker after 15 rounds or a map change.
How do I make sure I got my points?
You look at the server's game tracker
and make sure you have above 0 points.
SSRP
Killing players is pretty much the only way to get points so make sure to kill someone before you start playing (of course only if you have a valid RP reason, please don't break the server's rules).
How do I make sure I got my points?
You check the server's game tracker
and make sure your points are above 0.
Thanks for reading my guide, if you have any suggestions and/or concerns about the
guide make sure to message me on
steam and I'll add it onto the guide!
Have fun playing!
Would be amazing if a global mod or CM pinned this!
