Maybe if the miner is getting a hit there should be a sound taking 30 seconds before the hit goes public. Therefore if you're alt tabbed and haven't muted your garrys mod already you can tab in and holster your pickaxe.

Also you can buy hit protection to atleast reduce yourself from getting constantly killed.

What if someone placed a hit on someone and then a hitman coincidently saw them say 4 seconds after walking through a tunnel and kills them, does that mean they get a warn? Seems pretty unfair IMO. For a user that is role playing as a hitman it would be hard to judge how long they have left before they can complete the hit. Also, if you're afk mining, which you can make plenty of money off doing anyway, then you should expect to be killed by a hitman, whereas people mining that are not afk can just holster the items/pickaxes they don't want to lose and pull a gun out to protect themselves, which is how it should be. You shouldn't have a "shield" whilst afk.

Atleast having any way to counter the instant death from someone working together with an hitman is the goal.
Doesn't matter If you're Gangster,Miner or Citizen. If a Hitman tells his friend to put a hit on someone and aims at him before the hit is even placed, you simply have no chance for counterplay.

While I agree that the concept of placing a hit on someone just to kill them with no RP reason is A. Stupid af and B. Just loopholing RDM, I will never support any suggestion which involves punishing players using assumptions as opposed to hard proof, just because someone does the hit in two seconds doesn't mean it wasn't in RP although it may be the most likely situation. I also disagree with adding a timer since in the case where it is RP based and someone happens to be near you then it breaks RP more than fixes it since the hitman has to wait while being able to get an easy kill.

All in all this is a problem however is not something worth fixing and to sum things up:

1. I disagree with warning people based off of assumptions from time logs.

2. You cannot prove whether the hit was valid or not.

3. Adding a timer may ruin RP more than it improves it.

The Crouch Feature Hides Your Name, Gang And Other Stuff, So Hitmen Shouldn't Be able To See Your Name, etc, But You can just counter that buy just sending them a trade and you will know who they are..

It's the Aiming at someone while a friend puts the hit tactic.
No counterplay, no time to react, no chance which is in my opinion just a really bad feature.

Pretty easy to keep an eye on a camera placed outside the mines and the tab menu once in a while to see if there are any hitmen to look out for :)

Actually Roy I bought a Iridium pick from Baldy then i went afk for 2 min to take a piss cone back and i had a hitman right in front if me started spamming my holster button didnt work i was sad
