I say they just remove the boosts which boost your damage, and just keep stuff like ammo boost ect.

they wont remove the boosts because they were purchased in game and there is no way we can refund every body for this. removing an item would only happen if its a game breaker . which they would first try to fix it. so the thing that might happen is them to decrease the sniper damage and not the boost it self.

Which is what I suggested and may even make people happier with the game as a whole

Buffing the rest of the weapons would be a better solution, a lot of them are pretty bad as of now.

If we lowered the damage of the snipers without considering scope boost by 50%, it would easily balance the time needed to kill someone using one giving the other players more time to react.

Please answer me, as I always get ignored in threads.
How about you make it so people can't shoot, unless they scope? I've seen it in SOOOO many servers now. A sniper isn't made to noscope, it's made to use it from a long range. If people get raided in ZARP, they always use a goddam sniper. But how? NO one can tell me that they use their scope instead of noscoping when raiding, right?

Seeing as the only snipers people call OP are the PSG and the SVU why not lower their rate of fire if they seem to OP? Most of the other snipers aren't that good compared to the rest of the weapons instead the PSG and SVU are supreme, even if those two got nerfed there are a lot of guns that would still do good being buffed as they simply aren't viable.

The SVU's not been nerfed fire rate wise, but the PSG has been 2-3 times and still they completely destroyed any other weapon in the game.

We could lower the fire rate and damage of all snipers, and buff the other weapons to an extent to combat this.

Instead Of the nerfing the sniper how about you buff the other weapons? For example there was a glitch a few days ago where the aug had x3 fire rate and It preformed like a assault rifle would, High DPS, Good Accuracy, But High recoil. I think weapons should not be balanced by damage but rather recoil because, People who take time to master a certian gun like the AUG can Fight A Sniper. The scope boost will still be there but Something I noticed was when you are spraying at someone They tend to panic (Suppression) And it really throws their aim off. So if the snipers should be nerfed in a way i would say Make them have more recoil, And for other guns Increase the damage and accuracy.
