In other games, auto-clickers, bots and even third party companies are paid to level players, or get them a particular material/item that is rare for the sake of the player getting more money.
I know it's not easy to make a huge amount of money on the server at times. But believe me when I say that actual RP is what makes the game more fun. In these other games, this belief is enforced thoroughly and botters, auto-clickers and third parties are bannable offences because they take away the challenge from the game and make it that much more annoying for legitimate players to get money.
Plus, look at how many miners there are doing this. Newer players, and non-VIP's who are looking to make a steady income from mining can't do so because of all the AFK miners.
I don't think it'll change a huge amount if this goes through. And I'm not entirely innocent myself as I've considered doing it. But I think it's a step in the right direction. There's a reason people would put hits on miners just as the hitman was coming into the mines while the miner had their diamond lockpick out during an event.
Perhaps it's partly jealousy, but I would think most of the reason would spawn from people getting sick and tired of others using exploits or doing something similar to get ahead.
