I'm pretty sure people could easily abuse this to crash or lag the server.
If its possible, they could exclude the normal weapons, like psgs etc. And only include the special weapons.
But that defeats the purpose. The reason they are set to that collision group is because people used to be able to use weapons + props to creat a massive amount of lag caused via the resulting collisions. Making it so the special weapons could colide would result in the same thing being able to happen. I would always recommend equipping directly to your hotbar and not dropping the weapons.
I think he's talking about dropping items once he's equipped it rather than holstering because he needs get the weapon back in the inventory as fast as possible.
Oh I see duh that makes alot more sense. Its kinda the same thing tho, if you want to be risky and faster you’re gonna have to take a chance. Otherwise you would have to use the system we implemented to ensure your items are never lost (/holster).
It's very unrealistic for your special item to be dropped through a prop though, you should rather fix these issues that people have with the /drop system rather than suggesting the alternatives. You can make it so only special items that are only dropped by "/drop" in chat collide with props. Oh, and if someone decides to lag out the server with dropped special weapons then isn't that our job to ban the people who does that? Not that a new player could do that anyways so I believe the only risk is if someone who was more rich and experienced on how the system works were to abuse this.
