TOPIC: Paying Staff for F1's

I have been thinking really hard about what could be done to motivate the average staff member to do F1's and I have seen many suggestions that weren't well though have been submitted. So today it's my turn to suggest an option. Keep in mind I'd like to ask you for your honest opinions. But please keep this post free of drama as much as possible, everyone can voice his opinion and no one should be treated badly for having another opinion than yourself.

The Suggestion
To start off, I would find a payment of 100k per F1 appropriate, this has to be looked at more in-depth but this could be the amount we could start off with. So let's say a staff member does 250 F1's a week, he would be getting 25mil a week, 100mil a month, that is a decent payment, even though the same money can surely be achieved faster with other activities.

F1 Farming
If you would only implement the part above, well we all know what would happen. But luckily I have a resolution for that. After an admin has done an F1 on the user's screen a box pops up which could look a little like this.

After 10 Seconds the box disappears and mediocre is locked in. Exit counts as mediocre as well.

The Boxes Options
Bad: The admin receives neither any cash nor is the F1 added to his F1 count.
Mediocre: The admin receives no cash but the F1 is added to his F1 count.
Great: The admin receives 100k and get's the F1 added to his F1 count.

Great
Well since this could lead to F1's being abused for making free money, every user is only allowed to state "Great" three times every day, after that he has to wait until the next day to choose the option again. There are not too many regular users that create over 5 F1's daily and not every one of those F1's is well done, so three times would be enough and every user could vote their conscience.

Bad
In case the user chooses bad an additional box would be opened enabling the user to write personal feedback to the staff member which would then be directly sent to said staff member via a PM.

If users don't like the staff member handling their F1, they can easily just say it was handled badly even if it was handled perfectly. Then the staff member just wasted their time on that F1 because it doesn't count towards their F1 count + they wouldn't get anything for doing it.
I don't see this ever happening on ZARP seeing how much backlash the giveaway for the most F1's got.




When the staff member applied, they applied to help out the server not expecting to get any rewards out of it. If they were then they shouldn't be staff.

Being staff is a volounteer job, they shouldn't get money for it

I like this idea since it will get the lazy staff to start doing something.
Tho there is a line that breaks when a admin get paid rp money when he doing something OOC. Without the payment thing, i think it would be great idea to get the user opnion on how the f1 was done. This could be saved in a database and SA+ would be able to see if incase of promotion from mod to admin and so on.

What if the same person experiences more than 3 rulebreaks? Then the staff handling the F1 will not get anything because the user already selected great 3 times earlier.

Edit: Also someone could have more than 1 friend making F1's for them.

Yes, but they won't receive any money for handling the F1 even if they deserved a "Great" rating on it.

A user usually doesn't experience such a tremendous amount of rule breaks and the user can still show his appreciation by telling the staff member thank you. The "Great" option has to be limited to prevent any kind of abuse.

This is voluntary; I do not see it fit that staff get paid to do their administrative duties.

The staff are volunteers who should not be paid for this job w/ in-game money as It'd make them less reliable and more "rush the f1s" mentality, hence dropping the quality bar; also, many users are salty most of the times for the f1 and if they disagree with the verdict of a sit for whatever reason and they're not satisfied, it's way more likely they'd answer "bad" even if the staff member has done the best possible for the occasion.
