Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
Random Death Match (also referred to as RDM) is when a player kills or damages another player for no valid RP reason. An example of this would be player x is driving in his car and player y starts shooting him for no reason.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
New Life Rule (also referred to as NLR) is when a player dies in a certain district and comes back to where they died before the 3 minute timer is up, or remembers things from their past life after they have died. An example of this is player x is raiding player y, but dies. Player x then returns to the base to continue raiding him, interfering with his previous life.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would first teleport to player x, and ask him to explain what happened. I would then teleport player y and x to a roof, and have them tell me in detail what happened, from each of their perspectives. I would ask player x if he has any additional proof to help support his accusation. I would then decide to either warn or verbally warn play y depending on the proof given. If no proof is provided, however, I will verbally warn player y and if I see him do it again, I will then warn him.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
First, I will teleport them both to a roof and ask them to tell me exactly what happened. I would check the logs to make sure his story his true. If player x provides valid proof, I will warn player y if he has any recent warnings, or verbally warn him and then warn him if I see him break NLR again.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words):
I have been playing Zarp for a while now, and am very active (many hours per day, much more on weekends). I am most active on S3 by far, and in my experience, that is where most rule-breaks occur. When no staff members are online, the server goes to chaos with mass prop block, mass RDM, etc... I believe I could help stop this. It is saddening not being able to stop the many rule-breakers until hopefully, a staff member will join. If I were a moderator, I could help stop rule-breaks that occur so frequently on the servers.
I am friendly to new players, and am always willing to help them figure out the basics of Zarp and get started. Having played Zarp so long, I know how common people complain about the staff not being helpful, not answering F1's... I could hopefully change their opinion on the staff team by constantly answering F1's, and doing my best to help the server out.
I have not received any warnings since 2016 I believe, and do not plan on receiving them. I really believe that Zarp will benefit from me becoming a moderator.
