Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
I am very active. I play multiple hours a day and solve F1s on the server I am on. Most of the time I am the only staff solving F1s for the time. My F1 count is also quite good ~110 F1s a week. I am also trying to help players if I see a rule has been broken and I have no mercy upon rule breaking.
]Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
I have had many situations where people LTAP on me and I have to get evidence, which forces me to disconnect to stop the recording of plays.tv. It gets quite annoying since it takes me a bit of time. I also wish to use the jail command as currently I can't really handle mass RDM as much of a punishment.
Ex.: Yesterday I had a person which LTAPPED on me 3 times, RDAd in the sit, RDMed recieved a billion warnings and finally got him banned.
If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:
ZARP MODERATORS
Remember you are a moderator. You are supposed to follow the rules and not break them. At the same time you should be also enforcing them. People should look at you and know that you're doing the right thing.
Not everyone is perfect, so no one knows all the rules and still can break them. Remember.. If you forget a rule or are unsure you can and should check them! And if there's something you don't find in the rules, please contact other staff members or a higher ranked one.
Now as a staff member you are given multiple commands and this is wher we'll go over them:
TAB (SCOREBOARD) MENU - You can use the scoreboard menu to access pretty much every command that is useful for you as a mod. You can also copy names and steam IDs for the next commands that will be listed. There you also have the kick command, where you can kick people. Remember though. They will see what you're typing.
/tp [steamid/name] Remember use the steamid if possible so you do not tp another person. When using the command, you'll see on the right side of the chat TARGET: [player's name]. Make sure it is the correct person. You'll also be able to aim exactly where the person will be teleported to. If you use it without any names or anything after /tp it will tp you. So you can create a bind to tp yourself to a roof by typing this into console: bind v "say /tp"
/goto [steamid/name] Use this when you want to goto a person, to check if they're free for an f1 to be solved.
/bring [steamid/name] Same function as tp. It's a bit harder to predict where the person will be teleported to.
/warn [steamid] To give someone a warning you must use this command. Remember to make sure that you are sure you want to warn the person, as this may affect them. You must be 100% sure that the rule has been broken.
/voicemute [steamid/player's name] - This comand allows you to mute anyone who is mic spamming or being offensive in voice chat.
/chatmute [steamid/player's name] - This command allows you to mute anyone who is chat spamming or being offensive in chat.
F1 When you become a staff member, you lose the ability to make F1s, but you can handle them. The f1 menu conists of: Reports, Logs and NLR timers on players. Handling reports with this system is at ease as you can right click, handle the situation and then it is quite easy to teleport to the person that you are dealing with.
F6 You can check the warnings and previous punishments of a person by finding their names in the list or clicking on Search at the buttom and pasting in the steamid. Remember if you think you gave someone a warning that should be removed, you can always do it in this menu.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
(The ban would be lowered to any number which I think would be appropriate to the situation)
"Hello Player! Thanks for applying at zarpgaming.com for your ban appeal. Due to your good ban appeal, where you appologized about your mistakes, the ban will be lowered to 3 days. I personally think the perm. ban was too much.
Thanks for appealing!"
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words):
I am a very active member of the staff steam and I spend 1/4 of my time a day solving out staff situations if It is possible for me. I can also be trusted and I think I am fair. I am friendly to people who are friendly to me and I do not target specific people never, no matter how bad their previous situations with me were. If there is a rule breaker that is destroying people's experience I make sure he does get punished and currently I do not have the powers to give them bigger punishments than a kick or a warning. I wish to be able to able to give out bans and jail time. I really wish to spend less time on getting evidence to ban a person. It takes me quite a lot of time (And as I am not VIP it costs me my job :/). I believe you already know how I am at handling situations and I am clearly missing the power. I also wish to be able to spectate people, which I think will do specific things again. I also wish to be able to utilize noclip and godmode as well as cloak. I know the rules well and I am well aware of which tricks rule breakers try and try to find loopholes.
