Your private conversation where you were saying someone should die from cancer.

Also, banning for disrespect counts for all users. If they ignore all warnings, mutes, etc. then you are allowed to ban someone for whatever time you feel appropriate for the situation.

If I were you I'd be glad it wasn't longer than a day.

It isn't relevant at all, you're not here to support Sorle. You're here to try to start some shitty argument that doesn't need to be started and will do nothing but make you look like you crave drama for everything. What you did was unprovoked and blatantly abusive.

As for Sorle, what was done here wasn't okay and the cause is not an excuse in this case but it is somewhat understandable given the circumstances.
