all the people who worked on half life don't work in valve anymore including the guy who posted the story, he was the lead writer of half life 2 and episodes 1 and 2 and since his NDA with valve expired recently he decided to post it. here is a tweet he made after his website went down (he is labeling it as fanfic so he doesn't get in legal trouble if you havent realized that by now btw) Marc Laidlaw‏ @marc_laidlaw : My website's down for now. I guess fanfic is popular, even a genderswapped snapshot of a dream I had many years ago.
