No because this is a terrible mindset to have.

If you don't allow people to say their opinions because they may be negative, you're neutering any from of debate in society.

I have to disagree, Exrobite.

But not in the sense that you're wrong persé, more so that you misunderstood my argument.
I'm not saying people can't say anything negative, I'm saying that people shouldn't feel the need to belittle other people's opinions in a non-constructive manner. It's like the difference between constructive criticism and insulting someone's work outright by saying "This is shit".

I will admit that I could've worded the argument better, though. I could've written "Did you ever think that instead of saying "this is shit", you could just say something like: "I don't like this, and here's why:" and then offer a constructive argument."

People should be free to speak their mind, but at the same time; if someone decides to be a douche and start attacking another user for having an opinion and then it just evolves into a flame war, don't you think that's kind of not so much debate as it is just being spiteful and needlessly aggressive?

Once more: I'm all for having a discussion and a debate, and I'll listen to any arguments you might have! But you'll be reducing those arguments to little more than background ambience when you start throwing insults and aggression my way (Not you in particular, more just an example than anything else).
