There we go finally found a solution to the problem... I had to type "taskkill /F /IM hl2.exe"

You need to go to task manager and end the task that says Hl2.
Because it runs in the background for some reason even if you have closed it down.

Alright, try this.

Press your Windows Key, and while holding it press "R".
A window will pop up, type "CMD" into it and press your Enter Key.
Type this exactly into the command prompt that comes up.
taskkill -im hl2.exe

It it might work, not 100% sure though.

This is a problem based upon the core of your computer. Search up "Garry's mod not opening on steam <Core>" on google or youtube.

I just tried.. I have no clue how to do it.... And for all the other guys. None of what you have said have came to a solution... It does not seem that this is a common issue
