I recently moved in a new place in Essex. All I can use is my iPad, since I have 4G on it. So I was wondering what's the best ISP in UK that's not too expensive? Virgin media is the best out of all the UK ISP providers but, the downside you might not be able to get fibre in your area.

Currently, if you go through this website you can get virgins 50mb internet package for £4.00 a month (+ £16.99 line rental) for the first 12 months (18 month contract).

Or you can go to broadbandchoices home page, enter your postcode and compare all the different packages available in your area.

Yeah, Virgin Media is decent. But since you live close to me Virgin Media tends to be crap around the Suffolk/Essex area.

I don't know what happened but I used to get 25 upload and 90 download, now I get 3 upload and 15 download. No changes made to payment, no VPN, no different router. Nothing new. Plus, it goes down for maintenence regularly at 10 PM - 3 AM which is pretty stupid in my opinion.

But Sky is balls, don't get Sky.
