TOPIC: Should there be a moderator age restriction?

I for one am for demoting all moderators under 16 and disallowing any moderator applications for people under 16 because they are not experienced enough in the real world with dealing with people + I see a lot of moderators who are about 13 breaking rules consistently and because they're mods they get away with it the young moderators are given far to much power and do not understand the repercussions of their actions. I was once an admin on elite roleplay which had an age restriction of 16 this made sure that many people who applied were more mature and understand the responsibility that comes with being an admin also with less young moderators this should mean a more mature older clientele for the server

I do understand that there are some good young mods but they are in a minority compared to the excessive amount of immature and disrespectful abusers that make up the young mods on the server

To be fair that's easy to say coming from someone who's over 16.

I disagree.

We don't choose mods according to their age, but according to how good they are etc....

Hello there, Outstandingcitizen. To be fair, not every kid is the same. Some are mature some aren't, so I agree with Exrobite that is really unfair. Though we have alot of mature moderators/admins under 16. We have no problems, I'm 13 though. Do you find me imature?

Totally agree, right now the moderators within the server are pathetic as they are all about 10 years old and break most rules on the server. They also do not know when it is the right time ti use there powers, for example they handed out loads of warning to me for no valid reason. I did speak to Brusk about a situation similar to this but all I got back was that im an asshole. This is the reason many people are not playing on the server at the moment including me.

technically you are being bias as you are labelling a group incapable of doing something because of their age, given that interpretation of the term

bias usually refers to a source that favors one side with invalid grounds to do so, or when they are meant to be impartial

Why don't we ban all players and staff under 16 while we're at it...
