I am beyond childish entertainment as Rick and Morty, i prefer Uncle Grandpa, to be fair, you have to be a genius to understand Uncle Grandpa. The humour is cryptic, and without being a genius of metaphysics most of the jokes will go over a typical humans head. Specially the character of pizza steve and his hedonistic outlook wich defines his actions- his ideology draws heavily from absurdism, and this is whitout mentioning the deep occult and theological symbolism of the show wich is uncomprehensible to mere mortals, Uncle Grandpa represents god but despite his power he is a bumbling fool whomst'd've mind is so removed from mortal concerns that he can't understand the struggles of humanity (wich raises the dillemma proposed by Epicurus, if god is neither able nor willing to prevent evil, then why call him God ?) he is both everyone's uncle (a distant figure only different from a stranger because of genetical bonds) and a grandfather (a wise all knowing patriarch), This animated series coud also be interpreted as a lovecraftian existential horror piece with Uncle Grandpa being a alusion to Azatoth the blind idiot god in such a interpretation the random nature of the show is a reference to the random and uncaring nature of the universe and the children whomst'd try to explain what they want to Uncle Grandpa represent humanity for we are nothing but foolish children trying to make sense of god's madness, But i doubt mundane humans will be able to see trought their beliefs and understand the true artistic value of Uncle Grandpa, so this magnum opus will be forgotten by the primitive reptilian-brained masses, how the mighty have fallen.
