Specifically, what type of ideas are you looking to bring forward? You mentioned that you will, but I see none?
One of the main things I am interested in reviewing our current criteria for staff members and how the staff are trained. This being due to the large amount of friction that has been present recently between the staff and users.
Obviously I also want the staff to staff relation to improve as there have been instances of staff members fighting to the point of it becoming an issue.
Once again another important thing I feel needs some more thought is the ethos as it at the moment tends to both be a system that protects users from excessive punishments but is abused by certain people to make staff feel like they can't punish those who do things wrong.
As you may see a lot of my current thought go to trying to improve the general relationship between people in the community to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable time as it has become somewhat of a problem. The problem became more noticeable as of late when there were six people emergency demoted within a month due to misconduct and due to the fact that the staff are users don't always respect each other as much as they should.
There are always ideas I would wish to contribute that relate more to the gameplay of the servers to make sure that people are having fun. One main focus here would be making sure that all of the non-SSRP servers are accessible enough that new players decide to stick and that the maps are fun. This proved to be quite essential in people joining the servers and in making sure they'd staff for a longer period of time. Currently surf has a bit of a problem with the maps being too difficult for new players prompting them to disconnect when certain maps are played.
