Time Spent at ZARP I signed up on the forums as of Oct 2013. I may not have a lot of posts but I do read a lot of the threads.
Why and When I joined ZARP
I joined ZARP back in October of 2013 to help Chute when he first obtained this community. I was one of the few trusted members he brought along for this. When it became public to everyone in the Friendly Players community that Chute was the new found owner of ZARP, EMP, Josh and I were community managers of ZARP at the start. We started together and as the times went on Josh and I became inactive on ZARP. We were later demoted from our powers for inactivity. If there was something I regret while I was ever here at ZARP it was being demoted. You can ask anyone that was there. I was furious when I was demoted, because I didn't want to accept it. Even though I didn't show it ZARP meant a lot to me. I came back after a few life changing years, and I went on Server 3 and just remembered the times of the old staff teams I used to be apart of. I made a bunch of friends that I still talk to today. I applied for moderator that same day. I talked to some of the admins I knew previously like Sally, and they helped me improve and if I ever needed their help I could count on them. I'm grateful that they were always there for me. I realize I'm probably not the favorite to win this poll, I haven't been here long and I still have yet to really meet everyone. But I feel with me back on the community team, I can make a difference. A difference that everyone will love, one that will make the player base grow higher than it's ever been, one that will make admins love doing their job even more. I may not be the favorite but I sure do have good intentions as I write this application.
One thing I have going for me is experience. I am one of the more experienced administrators on the staff team. I know the current community team well, and they know me. I have been an owner of the Friendly Players TTT Server, CSS Surf server, Co-Owner of Stranded, and Co-Owner of the Friendly Players RP Server. I was a forum administrator, on these forums, as well as a global mod on the Friendly Players Forums. I've used most mostly, if not every administrator tool that ZARP uses. Though I do not have all of those powers now, and only can say I'm an admin on the Dark RP server I do have the knowledge required to do most of what the community looks for in a community manager.
What I want to do with Community Manager
With Community manager, I will be able to do a lot of things, but the few things on my agenda are, make the player experience more enjoyable. I want to make sure the players are having fun and when someone tries to disrupt that they are dealt with promptly, I want to make sure there are no more admins will ill intentions. I will with the best of my ability make sure that no one one player is going to be put in the dirt just because they're not of some power. Every player deserves to have a fair time on the server, and if someone disrupts that it needs to be dealt with promptly and in a favorable fashion. Though this is a gaming community, and the rules apply to everyone we need to make sure that everyone follows those rules to ensure that we can provide the best game play we can. I want to make this a community that breeds some of the friendships that I have made over the years with people I would have never met if it weren't for ZARP and Friendly Players. I'm thankful for the experience.
I realize that I'm not the favorite to win, I realize I don't have the most powers in the community. If I am elected to be a community manager, I will try my hardest to make the community better than it ever has been. I'm thankful for the opportunity I have been given. Thank you for reading my application, and I hope you consider my application.
