Story/Situation - What happened?

So we were testing at the traitor tester house and i was opening and closing the door and pulling the lever for the torch that light up (green or red) then a player got in and i tested him, so i was going to let him out and then Someone else pressed the button so the player that was tested died. In the log files it was saying my name that i killed him of fire. If i accidently did it i am verry sorry but it was not on purpose.

The logs doesn't work like that. It would only say that you pressed the button, if you pressed the button. And also the lack of proof isn't very good. You're a great guy and I hope that they may be able to see past this misstake if you apply for mod next week. The logs would only show that message if you had pressed the button, but because you’ve made the effort to write out this appeal and it definitely could have been an accident, I’d be willing to forgive and I hope this gets accepted for you! Hello HappyDead,

I have spoken in great depth with Seargent about the punishment and what went on around it. I'd first like to emphasise that this is quite a strange situation. I strongly urge you to provide any form of evidence next time when you appeal. If your PC is powerful enough for it, get Plays.tv to record in-game footage. That makes these situations a lot easier to deal with.

There is a slight chance that the logs were wrong in this situation. I personally struggle to see how that can be, but neutral sources have told me that it is in fact possible. Because you strongly deny all accusations of having pressed the button, I believe you when you say that you did not do it.

I would like to add to that that if you did in fact press that button that you should be more careful. You seem to know your way around the tester however, so I do not feel like I have to explain that to you.

Because of the fact that you would be more than aware of the issue if you made a legitimate mistake, I see no reason why you should have been punished. There is no "justice" here, nor would you learn from your actions, as you quite possibly did nothing wrong.

Once again I urge you to record your in-game footage from now on. It could really save your skin if something like this were to happen again.

The punishment will be removed as soon as possible. Thank you for appealing!
